Caledonian International School [CIS] is an inclusive educational community that aims to foster the skills that will enable each student to reach his or her full potential. CIS does not discriminate based on race, creed, color, gender, or national origin and seeks to accept all qualified students who apply, provided the school can meet the student needs.
Applications for admission are accepted primarily December through to May, although this may be at the discretion of the school leadership. Input for the admissions policy has been sought from both teachers and school administration. The ultimate responsibility for admissions rests with the Director of the school, who will take input from the admissions team and the Head of School. To ensure that it meets the needs of all students, an admissions assessment for numeracy and literacy is undertaken for all admissions from Grade 03 onwards.
Caledonian International School will ensure all students have access to an appropriate education that allows them to achieve their potential. This policy of inclusion requires the removal of barriers to access and engagement.
